About the Department of Computer Science
The Department of Computer Science was founded in 2004 as the Department of Computer Science and Mathematics, under the direction of Professor Vladimir Streslov. At its founding, it incorporated teaching faculty previously affiliated with the college, as well as members of a research center on campus. After a decade of strong hiring, this department split in 2015 into two separate departments – the Department of Computer Science and Department of Mathematics, both under the School of Natural Sciences of Ariel University.
