The department is home to the faculty responsible for teaching basic and advanced courses in this field for the various programs on the Ariel campus.

• Geometric algebra
• Computerized models of solid bodies

The department publishes an international journal entitled "Functional Differential Equations" on a regular basis. The most recent volume to be issued was volume 14, published in 2007.
