Tenure-Track Faculty in Physiotherapy

The Department of Physiotherapy at Ariel University seeks a full-time tenure-track faculty member with a research program in physical therapy, movement sciences/biomechanics or exercise science related area. The candidate will be appointed upon qualifications.

The Department invites applicants who have a successful track record or show significant potential to procure extramural funding to support their research program(s). Topic areas of interest include, but are not limited to: rehabilitation sciences, movement sciences/biomechanics, biosensors/robotics, exercise science, and pain sciences. Applicants should have the ability to teach in Hebrew.   

Candidates are expected to have established an exemplary track record both in research (as evident from high quality publications) and in teaching undergraduate and graduate courses. Accepted applicants will be expected to initiate research, teach, supervise graduate students, apply for grants and take a part in all department activities.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):

  • An academic doctoral degree from an accredited university with a research program related to physical therapy, exercise science, movement sciences, biomechanics, or kinesiology.
  • Strong communication and collaborative abilities.

Additional Considerations:

  • Teaching and/or clinical experience in physical therapy or related areas
  • Postdoctoral experience.
  • Experience in developing research proposals.
  • Applicants with established interdisciplinary research collaborations are encouraged to apply.

  • An updated curriculum vitae, including a current list of publications and teaching experience
  • Cover letter describing experience and interest in this position
  • Research statement (include research goals, objectives, and three-year research plan)
  • Teaching interests and previous teaching experience, including results of teaching evaluation (if available)
  • Copies of 3 published articles
  • Three academic references, including contact information
