Research areas: 1. Structure-function relationships in Epithelial Sodium Channels (ENaC). 2. Trafficking of ENaC subunits to the cell membrane. 3. Molecular genetics of mineralocorticoid hormone unresponsiveness (pseudohypoaldosteronism) caused by mutations in epithelial sodium channel (ENaC) subunit genes. 4. Structure-function analysis of cytochrome P450 system electron transport enzymes involved in steroid hormone biosynthesis (Steroidogenesis).
