Research Interests

The social aspects of planning:

  1. Sense of place; place attachment; place identity and place branding.

  2. Community; social capital; community resilience;

  3. Living under pressure and threat: examining mental stress and health condition of groups in stressful situations; coping with displacement and the sense of loss;

  4. Coordinating the needs of the elderly and disabled populations with the residential environment.
