The prime research fields of his group are advance materials for fuel cells, in particular-nano catalysts for methanol oxidation and non-platinum oxygen reduction catalyst. He is currently involved in several successful applied research projects including R&D of membrane-less alcohol based fuel cell, and hydrogen generator from chemical hydrides. In addition his group is promoting an extensive research effort to investigate novel electro-catalysts nano-materials for acid type fuel cells. His lab has been awarded by ISF as a center of knowledge in renewable energy.
