Prof. Yehuda Danon
President of Ariel University
President of Ariel University since October 2012, an Israeli MD and former Chief Medical Officer of the IDF.
Served in the IDF medical corps. In his capacity as commander of the Northern Command Medical Corps, he established the Good Fence clinics and hospital system in southern Lebanon.
Danon specialized in pediatrics at Beilinson Hospital and immunology at the Weizmann Institute of Science. In 1967 won a Fulbright grant to carry out research at the University of California, Los Angeles, and in 1983 received another grant for the preparation of research at Yeshiva University. At Beilinson Hospital served as director until 1986, and Chief Medical Officer (Chief Medical Officer) between 1987-1991.
Founded the Schneider Children’s Medical Center in Israel and served as the first director until 1997. He served as director of the Immunology Institute at Schneider. Has won several awards including pediatrics Nadav Award, a Batsheva de Rothschild prize and more.
Is Chairman of the National Council for Child Health and the Ministry of Health pediatric committee since its inception.
Yigal Cohen Orgad
Mr. Cohen-Orgad is a former Finance Minister in the Israeli Government, served as a Director of Bezeq Israel Telecommunication Corp. Ltd. and also served as a Director of Israel Electric Corporation. He is Chancellor of Ariel University and sits on the board of Ariel University R&D Company.
Prof. Albert Pinhasov
VP and Dean for Research and Development
Prof. Pinhasov serves as the head of Ariel’s Research Authority, the office that is principally engaged in the scientific, administrative and financial framework for research activities carried out by Ariel’s faculty.
Prof. Pinhasov is a co-founder of the Integrative Brain Research Center and newly established Institute for the Translational Medicine in Ariel University.
In addition to his position as the Research Authority, Prof. Pinhasov served as the head of the Molecular Biology Department and has more than 50 publications and international patents.
Israel Frider, PhD
Dr. Israel Frieder is the Chairman of A.A.Pearl Investments Ltd. Dr. Frieder has over 35 years of experience in the communications and investment industry. Dr. Frieder serves as Chairman/Director of several public and private companies, and investment committees. Dr. Frieder is a Director at Ariel-University R&D Company Ltd
and a lecturer of Business Strategy, at the MBA program
From 2005 to 2008 Dr. Frieder was the founder, Chairman & CEO of ITAC (Israel Technology Acq. Corp.) Raising $38M (OTCBB). From 2001 to 2004 Mr. Frieder served as the President & CEO of Kardan Communications Ltd.,an holding company and served as Chairman / Director of the portfolio companies such as RRsat (Nasdaq:RRST),IVP, Teledata-Networks, SintecMedia, YES and Investment committee of Aviv VC. From 1996 to 2001 Mr. Frieder served at ECI Telecom (Nasdaq:ECIL) provider of network and access solutions for digital networks for over 180 operators. During 1996 to1999 Mr. Frieder served the President of ECI Telecom, DNI Inc. in the US. During 1999 to 2001 served as Corporate Vice President of Business Development & Strategic Planning of ECI Telecom. During 1986 to 1996 Mr. Frieder served as the President of Tadiran Telecommunication Ltd, Network Systems. While at Tadiran, Mr. Frieder founded four companies and sales grew from $30m to $350m
Dr. Frieder is a winner of the Israel Defense Prize, 1979 and Israel Kaplan Prize, 1986
Dr. Frieder received a M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (Technion, Haifa) and an MBA in Operational Research (Hebrew University of Jerusalem) with distinction

Prof. Michael Zinigrad
Rector, Ariel University
Over 30 years experience in Materials Science and Materials Engineering, Mathematical modeling and simulation.
Founded the Research Laboratory for Advanced Materials Investigations.
Theoretical and experimental investigations on high-temperature processes.
Development of new materials on the basis of mathematical modeling of physico-chemical and technological processes.
Prof.zinigrad is the Head of the Materials Research Center, Ariel University since 1999 and also served as Scientific Manager at Chisumim Ltd since 1998.
From 1995 to 2008 prof.zinigrad was Dean of the Natural Science Faculty of Ariel University.

Zvika Weiss is the CEO of Valentis Nanotech. Zvika held various executive positions in several companies like IDB, Technolmatix, SCP Systems, Capital Nature, Vigil, Vsecure . Zvika was also the CFO of Yissum – the technology transfer arm of the Hebrew University. Zvika was a board member in tens of start up companies as well as Seven VC’s. Zvika holds a BA degree in Finance and Economics and an MBA, both from Tel Aviv University. Zvika is a certified Accountant in Israel
