For over 25 years, it has been my privilege to play a part in building a dream. Since its early beginnings, Ariel University has evolved into a first-rate institution of higher education and research. Drawing inspiration from our ancient past, we have our eye open to a better future for all.
During my tenure as Rector, the dedicated faculty and administrative staff at Ariel University have been working diligently and rigorously to improve and maintain the highest academic standards of instruction and research, while continuing to develop new and innovative accredited programs for the benefit of our students. New departments have recently opened in Occupational Therapy, Land of Israel Studies and Archaeology, Education and Accounting. The 2019-2020 academic year we will be a landmark year in which we will be inaugurating our new Adelson Medical School.
I am particularly gratified by the impressive strides we have made in the scope and quality of research activities over the past few years. Our faculty continues to distinguish itself by a steady rise in the number of publications and participation in international conferences, and by winning important research grants. In 2018, Ariel University reached another major milestone by entering the Shanghai Academic Ranking of World Universities.
From a budding young college offering a small number of faculties in the 1980s, we are proud of the over 3,000 students in our 2019 graduating class. Ariel University remains dedicated to preparing our future leaders to take their places in their respective professions, and to ensure that they graduate as critical thinkers and lifelong learners.
