A Bayesian Framework in GNSS Urban Navigation

Satellite Navigation is an inherent part of modern life, both for localization and accurate timing purposes. Alas, the very nature of those Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) limits their level of accuracy to several meters in open sky and to several dozens of meters in urban canyons.
The proposed work aims to face this challenge by utilizing probabilistic methods and filters such as Kalman and a modified Particle filter.
Roi Yozevitch completed his B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering in Tel Aviv University and his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Ariel University. He is an expert on Bayesian filters applied to GNSS navigation and published several works in the field. His main fields of research are autonomous navigation, machine learning, and GNSS navigation.
