Spoken Persian

Highlights of the program:

Expansion of the spoken Persian language within the framework of the Middle East Studies Department, alongside the study of literary and spoken Arabic. It combines the study of spoken Persian with a focus on the development of reading and listening comprehension skills and the ability to translate texts dealing with the Middle East, in general, based on the spoken language.

The goals of the program:

  •  To bring students to a high level of speech and reading of the spoken Persian language, written and through broadcasts.
  •  To expand the knowledge circles of students, graduates of the department and external students in the field of Iranian and Persian studies.
  • To provide professional tools in a language that is gaining momentum at the level of interest and research, both in academia and in various state institutions, including military and security institutions.

One of the main goals is to provide tools for using written and spoken Persian language, and striving to teach students the skills that will enable them to integrate in this field in the future, based on their achievements.
