Since joining the senior faculty of Ariel University in 2005, Professor Gellerman has supervised 14 masters and 10 doctoral students. His research, including three reviews (ref. 30, 33, 46) has been published in respectable ISI journals. He has filed several patent applications and received many scientific grants. Prof. Gellerman founded the Israeli Society for Combinatorial Technologies (ISCT), which aims to enhance the knowledge of Israeli researchers in the field of modern development of drugs and make this advanced science accessible to Israeli students. He has organized several international conferences, and regularly lectures and presents his work at international conferences. He also engages in seminars, meetings or institutions that address the scientific activities in the field of Targeted Drug Delivery and Drug Design. In addition, Prof. Gellerman reviews theses, articles and grants in the areas of medicinal chemistry. He collaborates with various universities in Israel and abroad. In 2014, Prof. Gellerman was nominated as Chair of Department of Chemical Sciences in the Faculty of Natural Sciences at Ariel University, where he initiated new undergraduate academic tracks, such as Medicinal Chemistry, Forensic Chemistry, Chemistry and Wine, Chemistry and Business Management, and Chemistry and Entrepreneurship. In 2005, Professor Gellerman was elected as the new Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and is leading the faculty to the cutting-edge frontiers and challenges.
